I have taken Ken DeMile's Cardio Self Defense course for over a year now and found many benefits from it. As a 45 year old female and a licensed massage therapist it has improved my strength, stamina, and confidence, as well as given me the tools I need for true self defense. At first I was intimidated as to whether I would be able to do the class, but not only is it fun, it is designed in such a way that meets each individuals fitness level. In the past I have taken a self defense class here and there but repetition and speed to response is what ultimately gives you the best protection. I highly recommend any male or female to take the course.

When the owner of my gym told me that the Cardio Self Defense Class was starting I was very excited to join. At that time home invasion crimes were on the rise in the Seattle area, especially targeting the elderly. Since I am over 50 I felt that if I could learn a few "tricks" it would help me protect myself and my family. Plus I thought it would be more interesting than aerobic dance or working on the treadmill.
Ken DeMile has created an interesting class that not only offers a real "kick butt" workout but also teaches empowering self defense moves. As I've worked through the class I've found that I am stronger, react faster and feel more empowered and less afraid. It is also a great stress reliever, learning how to hit and kick correctly has been great for me as a business owner to release stress.
